A teenager from Delhi sexually assaulted his classmate in their school and allegedly made two of his friends record the act.
The incident happened in late December in the washroom of a government school in Chanakyapuri. When the recorded obscene videos and photos of the victim became viral after the accused and his friends decided to share it with their classmates, the humiliated and traumatized 15-year-old girl decided to disclose the unfortunate event to her parents. Shocked and disturbed, the parents immediately filed a complaint at a local police station.
The police seized the phones of the accused students and arrested them after an investigation. The three teenagers have been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
