Dad will always be in my heart: Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt today wrote an emotional Instagram post on the death anniversary of his beloved father, Sunil Dutt. 

Taking to the photo-sharing app, the ‘KGF 2’ actor shared an old pic of himself with Sunil Dutt. “Through thick and thin, you were always there to guide and protect me. You were my strength, inspiration, and support in every need…the best a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart Dad, I miss you! (sic),” the senior actor wrote. 

Sunil Dutt was not only an actor of repute and a filmmaker of accomplishment but was also a political leader with a huge standing. He passed away in 2005.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt awaits the release of Ranbir Kapoor’s period action drama ‘Shamshera’, ‘Ghudchadi’ (the romantic comedy co-starring Raveena Tandon), and Akshay Kumar’s 2023 release ‘Prithiviraj’ in Hindi. In the last of these films, Dutt is playing Kaka Kanha. The film will hit the screens on June 3 in a massive way. Its budget is said to be Rs 200 Cr.
