Popular music director D. Imman has been churning out his lilting melodies ever since he was a teenager. His music has elevated many a film and he has made it a habit of delivering chartbusters at regular intervals.

On the personal front Imman, divorced his wife Monica Richard in December 2021. The couple got married in 2008 and have two daughters Blessica Kathy Imman and Veronica Dorothy Imman. He wrote on social media "To all my well wishers and ardent music lovers who have been supportive all along, I am truly grateful for that. As life takes us on different paths, Monicka Richard and I have legally divorced by mutual consent as of November 2020 and are no longer husband and wife. It has been reported that Imman is getting remarried to one Uma from Chennai and like his previous union this too is an arranged marriage. The man himself opened up about this aspect of his life during the promotions of his latest film 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' starring Suriya.

Imman stated that there is a general feeling in the society that when a divorce occurrs it is the man who is to be blamed but that is not so in most cases and betrayals can happen from both the sides. He added that though it was very bitter to go through the divorce he wishes that his ex-wife Monica get all that her heart desires and she lives a good life henceforth.

Regarding marrying again, Imman said that his father who is getting old wants to find a suitable bride for him since he is a single child and also lost his mother long back. He revealed that he is looking for a widow or a divorcee who also has a girl child around ten years old. The melody maker said that such a lady will give unconditional love to his daughters too and they can start a new family that will have love at its core.

On the professional side, Imman's upcoming movies include 'Captain', 'Yutha Satham', ' Poikaal Kuthirai', 'My Dear Bootham' and 'Public'.
