The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce today announced a crucial meeting of several stakeholders belonging to the Telugu film industry is going to be held on July 26.
The meeting, to be held at the Chamber building in Film Nagar, is going to have in attendance not only producers but also distributors, exhibitors and studio sector members. Some key deliberations will be conducted on the occasion. The meeting will also see the stakeholders arrive at crucial decisions for the well-being of the film industry.
“We request producers not to believe in any rumours till then,” the Chamber today said in the context of rumours that film shoots will be stalled from August 1 indefinitely.
It was recently announced that the Producers Council will hold a General Body Meeting soon to discuss issues pertaining to challenges from OTTs, VPF fee, production costs, working conditions & wages, cinema ticket prices, and issues concerning actors/technicians.
