It was recently announced that Juventus defender Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus just days after the club faced Inter Milan in Serie A. Players of both teams, coaching staff, referees, and everybody else involved in the game have been forced into quarantine and Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is one of them.
As per the regulations issued by the health authorities of the country, the club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required. A Juventus source reportedly mentioned that the entire squad will have to spend two weeks in quarantine, meaning they would not be able to face Olympique Lyonnais in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie on 17 March.
After testing positive for the virus, Daniele Rugani took to social media to inform that he is feeling fine. "You will have read the news and that's why I want to reassure all those who are worrying about me, I'm fine. I urge everyone to respect the rules because this virus makes no distinctions. Let's do it for ourselves, for our loved ones and for those around us," his post read.
Avrete letto la notizia e per questo ci tengo a tranquillizzare tutti coloro che si stanno preoccupando per me, sto bene.
