Trending couple united by Modi love in trouble!

Weeks back, a couple had turned the talk of social media, following tweets that they had got married due to their common love for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and now, the same couple has hit news, for negative reasons, involving torture and physical abuse.

A Gujarat based man Jay Dave had tweeted quoting PM Narendra Modi that he had got married because of the PM, and added that his comment on Rahul Gandhi’s Facebook page was liked by Alpika Pandey, following which they talked, met and found that they both support Modi, and so they decided to do it together. Jay Dave and Alpika Pandey had reportedly got married on December 31.

Not even a month, and now the couple is in news again, as Alpika Pandey posted tweets accusing that Jay Dave has been harassing her, and his parents are supporting him. She tweeted that she’s 18 and he’s 29 years old though he doesn’t look like one, and that he used her photo without her consent for his publicity to boost his image in BJP and social media. She added that she had been tortured and physically abused and even thought of committing suicide as even his parents supported him, and that she was not even allowed to go out of home without a person accompanying her. Reportedly, Alpika Pandey is now staying with her parents.
