Couple found dead, cops suspect murder!

An Indian American couple was found dead in their home in Texas, and cops suspect the death to be murdered. Earlier, a 911 call was received where the address of the location was given, and as the cops arrived to the scene, Shanti Nakirekanti was found dead with a gunshot in her head, while her husband Sreenivas Nakirekanti was shot in his chest and he was lying in the bedroom, with a gun near him.

Reportedly, the couple’s daughter was asleep when the shootings happened, and the cops are suspecting this as a case of murder-suicide and assured that there is no further danger to the residents of Telfair, Sugar Land and that they are investigating further. It was said that there was no case of domestic violence, and Sreenivas had even sent mail to friends as early as 5 am.

Sreenivas had been the President of Indian American Charity Foundation and had earlier been a part of energy services, associated with finance and planning, while his wife Shanti had been the project lead architect in United Airlines and both had graduated from Texas A&M University.
