The coronavirus pandemic at 6pm IST today stands at 955301 with death count at 48578 throughout the world. Those who have recovered are now at 203011. Closer home the Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Beela Rajesh has delivered the grim news that today alone 75 persons have been tested positive all excepting one with travel history to the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin, New Delhi.

The total number of persons tested positive in TN has now crossed the scary 309 mark among the total Indian count of 2032 people. Tamil Nadu is now second in India after Maharashtra which has 416 cases as of now.. All these statistics just point to one very important thing which is strict adherence to the lockdown, social distancing and most importantly washing hands and face with soap and sanitizers and also regularly used items to stave off the deadly COVID 19.
