Coronavirus threat – TN government orders shutdown of cinema theaters, malls and bars

Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy’s Tamil Nadu government has ordered the closure of cinema halls, malls, theme parks and tasmac bars till March 31st following the coronavirus threat is continuing to spread all over the globe.  All educational institutions have also been asked to go on leave with only the tenth and plus two exams to go on as scheduled.  

The TN government taking high precautions has also asked the public not to plan any public function including marriages till the end of the month and only the ones that had already procured permission will be allowed.  

The order has been received positively by all concerned as though Tamil Nadu is one of the least affected states in India and the world by the coronavirus these proactive steps could help in battling the threat.
