Simbu, one of the most charismatic stars in South cinema and Vijay Sethupathi the powerhouse performer set screens on fire in their scenes together in Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. Photos of the two stars bonding together on the sets made both their fans happy.
Meanwhile Simbu after the success of 'Maanaadu' is focussed on completing Gautham Menon's 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu' and 'Pathu Thala' by the end of the summer. He will then move on the comedy caper action entertainer 'Corona Kumar' directed by Gokul and produced by Vels Films International. We already reported that Aditi Shankar is likely to play the female lead and talks are on with Fahadh Faasil to play the chief antagonist.
Now there is a strong buzz that Vijay Sethupathi has given his nod to reprise his role as "Sumaar Moonji Kumar" in the film. It is worth recalling that 'Corona Kumar' is a spinoff of Gokul's 2013 blockbuster hit movie 'Idharku Thaaney Aasaipattai Balakumara' that had Vijay Sethupathi in the lead playing the famous character. He will however make only an extended cameo appearance according to the sources.
