The 'Cooku With Comali' season two that concluded on Vijay TV recently has become the launchpad for several of its contestants in Kollywood.  Already Sivaangi and Pugazh have bagged films with top stars and now it's the turn of Ashwin.

Popular production house Trident Arts has reportedly signed a three-film deal with Ashwin which is a rare occurrence for an actor who is yet to make his debut.  Ashwin is represented by the talent agency The Route which is headed by Jagadish the manager of Thalapathy Vijay.

It is said that Jagadish is the one who first recognized the talent of Ashwin and promoted him aggressively which has resulted in him becoming a hero with three consecutive films with frontline directors.  The official announcements are expected soon.
