What is with Cherry’s spiritual interests?

Ram Charan has been on the path of spirituality for a while now.  Though he has always been a devotee of Lord Ayappa and has taken to deeksha many times in the past, he had a spiritual experience this time when he took to the deeksha.  The thing is that he felt that he should make a visit to the holy Dharmashala this time.

Since Cherry never spoke about his spiritual interests publicly in the past, one is surprised at his latest holy voyage to Dharmashala.  Unlike his father, who is a staunch devotee of Lord Hanuman, the actor was known more for his material pursuits than his spiritual endeavours.

His turning spiritual could be attributed to the miraculous escape he had while shooting for a shot in Goa recently.  It is not uncommon to see celebrities going on a pilgrimage after recuperation or a miraculous escape.
