Krishna Vamsi not special to me, says Sastry

Ace lyricist Seetharama Sastry says that there is no truth about the popular perception that he writes for Krishna Vamsi’s films with greater care and interest than he writes the lyrics for others.  Saying that he gives it his all for every song and that he takes up to pen a song only when he is completely satisfied, Sastry said that it is more difficult to convince Krishna Vamsi though.

Speaking at the audio release function of Mogudu, he said that the director had given him challenging assignments many a time.  In Mogudu too, he was asked to write a song on what a wife expects from a husband.  This was a challenging task for Sastry.

He said that Krishna Vamsi is very particular about the songs.  It is difficult to convince him.  Many super hit numbers have come in the combination of Sastry and Vamsi.
