Yuan scores tunes for ‘Kaali’

Directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by Neelima Thirumalsetty and Shobu Yarlagadda on the joint banner of Sanghamitra Arts and Arka Media, ‘Kaali’ had recently completed its first schedule in Kolkata after shooting there for 45 days or so.

The unit is getting ready to leave for Kerala and south Tamil Nadu for the next schedule wherein some songs and key scenes would be shot.

Prior to this, music director Yuan Shankar Raja and director Vishnuvardhan are busy in recording of songs now.

It is worth mentioning here that Pawan Kalyan is playing the hero in this film, while Sarah Jane Dias and Kingfisher model Anjali Lavania are sharing the screen with him in the female leads.

The movie was first titled ‘The Shadow’ and later ‘Kaali’ came up for consideration. However, none of them were announced officially.

The film revolves around a subject with mafia in its backdrop. Jackie Shroff, Atul Kulkarni and Sesh Adivi of Karma fame are the other lead artistes.
