‘Virodhi’ release in May

Srikanth and Kamilini Mukherjee starrer ‘Virodhi’ will hit the screens in May. Srikanth’s brother Meka Anil is the producer of this film. “A violent Indian story’ has been finalised as the tagline for this flick.

Neelakanta is the director for this movie and R P Patnaik is the music composer. Apparently this socio-political film is a story based on Naxalism and its impact of relationship between two people. Srikanth plays the role of a Journalist in this thriller.

Ajay, Shivajiraja, Kamal Kamaraju, Aahuti Prasad et al play roles in the film. Two time national award winning cinematographer Ramachandra worked for this flick.

“We are busy with post-production work now.Most of this film was shot in outdoor locations. The music has come out well.  The director Neelakanta did a good job and since his pre-production work was well planned, we shot the movie in less number of days. We will release this film in May” Anil Meka informed.

Srikanth is acting in about four films now. His previous movie ‘Ranga The Donga’ was a box office dud.
