Chiru gets a grand welcome

Megastar Chiranjeevi who merged his Prajarajyam Party with Congress Party came back to Hyderabad from New Delhi in the evening on Tuesday. He was given a grand welcome by both PRP and Congress party workers.  Leaders from both the parties lined up at the airport to congratulate him for the merger.

Chiru on Sunday declared the merger of PRP with Congress after his hour long meeting with Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi. Inwake of threat to Congress in the state from Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chiru was tactfully poached by the party to enhance its strength in the state Assembly. He then held talks with senior Congress leaders Veerappa Moily, Pranab Mukherjee, Jaipal Reddy et al who welcomed him into the party. He is believed to have discussed with them the roadmap ahead for him and his partymen who are now a part of Congress.

Chiranjeevi has also invited Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to the state for a Grand PRP-Congress merger rally that will be held in this month.

He told media persons at the Hyderabad International airport that he will continue to strive for Social justice in the leadership of Sonia and will also make sure PRP leaders get good posts in Congress party.

Sources say Chiru might soon be inducted into the Central.
