Aakasa Ramanna releasing on February 19

Sivaji-starrer Aakasa Ramanna is set to release on the 19th of next month.  The film also stars Naresh and Rajiv Kanakla in the leads.  In fact, the film is a multi-starrer, given that there are going to be Meera Jasmine and Gauri Pandit, who will be seen in interesting roles too.

The film is directed by Ashok and produced by Manyam Ramesh.  Produced under the banner of Manyam Entertainments, the film is a suspense entertainer.  Between the three – Sivaji, Naresh and Rajiv Kanakala, is an akasa ramanna, who remains a mystery till the end.

The film takes place in the night and is full of nocturnal twists, according to the makers.  The producer says that they have preferred to make it into an entertainer, though they could have made it in the genre of a full-on thriller.

This is yet another film in which Sivaji is playing a mysterious character.  In one of his 2009 releases Indumathi, he was seen in an interesting role.  Also, Rajiv Kanakala is doing a hatke film after his Visakha Express, which also starred Allari Naresh.

Aakasa Ramanna has been in the studios for more than six months, never being able to see the light of the day.  The film is finally releasing this year.
