Rs 2 crore for invitations of ‘Mallanna’

Con Kennedy, who strove for 16 long years to get a break as an artiste, changed his name to Vikram on the advice of the late Bhamidipati Radhakrishna and turned a star actor and bagged the ‘Best Artiste’ award at national level.

He created a history with blockbusters like ‘Sivaputrudu and Aparichitudu’. On those lines, Vikram is playing hero in another biggest budget film, ‘Mallanna’ to be directed by Susi Ganeshan and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu on the banner of V Creations with glamour star Shriya in the female lead.

The film is said to be a heavy budget film and message-oriented movie.

The film would be released in Tamil as ‘Kandaswami’. That means, the film is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages.

The invitations for the launch of the film cost a whopping Rs 2.25 crores. Perhaps these are the most expensive invitations in the history of world film industry. The cost of each invitation is Rs 15,000/-. Why the invitation is so expensive, because it is an electronic digital invitation.

Once opened there will be an eight minute trailer that dazzles the eyes. The album prepared for the photo session was also on the same range.

It is learnt that the invitations were manufactured in China. The invitation was made with excellent quality and colour combination.

When it comes to the story of the film, the hero strives to equalise the poor and the rich. The basic story starts with the life of a common man and the film unit proved that their eyes and foot were firm on the ground.

At the same time, the film will have massive technical excellence and the director and producer plan to capture the attention of the audiences in an interesting way.

Besides both the producer and director, there is a hero called Vikram who had inimitable style and calibre. Vikram is going to appear in various attires like a Swamiji, Girigan, Robin Hood, He-Man, woman, and others.

Another point to be noted here is that this heavy budget film will have scintillating music from our own Devisri Prasad which gives happiness to all the Telugus.

The shooting of ‘Mallanna’ which has these many specialities would be launched at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad at 6.30 pm on September 24.

Let us hope that this film would be another blockbuster in the career of Vikram.
