Madan to direct ‘Gunde Jhallumandi’ with Uday Kiran

It is well aware that ‘Pellaina Kothalo’ the debut film directed by Madan was a big hit. Now this director had signed the dotted line for United Movies for a film to be produced by Paruchuri Sivaram Prasad, (who is presently doing a film with Nithin as ‘Takkari’).

According to sources, Udaykiran is playing the hero.

Producer Sivaram Prasad says, ‘Madan proved himself as a good director by bringing out a neat film called ‘Pellaina Kothalo’. He was able to maintain good family drama all through the film. Udaykiran who made a comeback to Telugu is all set to win the hearts of the audiences with his films in his second innings. Hence we chose these two for our movie. We have confirmed the title of the film as ‘Gunde Jhallumandi’. Works are going on the preparation of script and dialogues. Once we are ready with the script, we will go to sets. Most possibly we are going to launch the shooting by Vijayadasami. As of now we selected Surender Reddy as our cinematographer and we will soon announce the details of other artistes and crew.’
