Happy birthday to Real Star Dr Srihari

Born in a small village near Gudivada in Andhra Pradesh, got education in Hyderabad, Srihari had entered into gymnastics and bagged several prizes at national and international events.

He made his debut into Telugu film industry through a small character with the blessings of Dr Dasari Narayana Rao.

Later, he proved a versatile artiste by playing several characters including, villain, comedy villain and character artiste and finally became a hero.

He showed extraordinary performance as hero in Bhadrachalam, Ayodhya Ramaiah, Ganapati, Deva, Dhee, Hanumanthu and other such films. As his fans realised that Srihari would do any risky shot without any dupe in action scenes and started calling Srihari a ‘Real Star’.

After identifying the social service taken up by this great artiste, a university in Malaysia awarded him an honorary doctorate and felicitated him.

Srihari had also bagged Nandi awards for several times for different characters. He is basically a good artiste and had a perfect and steel body besides good acting talents.

All these qualities made Srihari, a Real Star and Dr Srihari. Not only as a character artiste, Srihari had shown a perfect and precise comedy timing as a comedian with Nagarjuna in Hello Brother, and with Mega Star in ‘Bavagaru Bagunnaaraa?’. At the same time, Srihari is known for expressing good sentiment.

His performance coupled with sentiment is worth watching in killing his own sister in ‘Sivayya’ as she was a bad woman. After becoming hero, he attracted the audiences with his heroic performance in films like ‘Bhadrachalam, Deva, Ganapati, Yevadra Rowdy and Hanumanthu.’

This Real Star is celebrating his birthday on August 15. Though it is a coincidence that our Indepencence Day and his birthday fell on the same day, a person taking birth on a great day is quite lucky.
