Amala clears the air

Rumor rags across Andhra have been having a field day writing about the ‘impending separation’ between Nagarjuna and his wife Amala.

But there appears more than exaggeration in their reports over Nagarjuna giving up Amala for actress Tabu.

For, Amala has come out in strong support of her husband and said there was nothing more than friendship between Nagarjuna and Tabu.

The spindly figured Amala has stressed that Nagarjuna and Tabu were just friends. ‘Tabu stays in our house whenever she comes to Hyderabad. So does Hindi actor Danny. They are all family friends,’ she said.

Amala’s words are expected to clear the air and make life easy for Nagarjuna. Scandal sheets have married him off to Tabu and other heroines from time to time.

But hopefully Amala’s explanation will change all that.
