A soft launch

One of the biggest expectations of the season is Vennela.

This urban romantic flick, that straddles the two worlds of America and India, has been directed by Deva Katta.

Music for such urban love films (Anand is a good example) is usually good. They abound with melodies.

So there was extra enthusiasm for the audio launch of the Vennela.

Rajendra Prasad launched the audio at a gritty function on Friday.

Industry hands like Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Prabhu Deva, Lawrence, Dharani, Siva Balaji, Saloni, Lagadapati Sridhar, Santosham Suresh were at hand.

Vennela?s team led by the director Deva Katta, producer Chalapati, the actors Raja, Sarvan and, Ravi Varma, musician Mahesh Shankar and cameraman Raja Ratnam also graced the function.

Rajendra Prasad released the audio.

The songs have a soft feel and are certain to click among those who like their songs to be mellifluous.
