Anushka’s Costumes Better Than Aishwarya Rai’s

If Aishwarya Rai’s costume in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ was an impressive glittery glimpse of history, then rub your eyes ready for Anushka’s ensemble in ‘Rani Rudramma Devi’. Director Guna Sekar is making Anushka put in extra efforts to perfect her role as a brave queen in the film, and is making no compromise on the royal clothesline.

Already richly distinguished by the presence of choice artistes like Isaignani Ilayaraja and art director Thotaa Tharani, the movie is getting one more boost, even visually. To bring the grandiose to life, the director has roped in costume designer Neeta Lulla to craft Anushka’s dresses. Neeta is a famous name in tinsel town, after her peerless creations for Aishwarya Rai in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, and the ace designer promises that Anushka’s costumes in ‘Rani Rudramma Devi’ will be even better than her creations for the former movie. The cost of her costumes and jewels alone, in the movie, will total up to a sum of 5 crores, while the total budget for the movie is 40 crore rupees.
