Will it be Jyothika opposite Rajni?

Shooting for actor Rajnikanth’s forthcoming venture Jaggubhai will begin this August. Being directed by K S Ravikumar, the movie is expected to feature a couple of heroines. Though it was initially said that former Miss World and popular Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai would play the female lead, rumors are agog that she might actually not, as she is busy with other commitments. The buzz going around Kollywood is that director Ravikumar has decided to cast Jyothika and Telugu actress Bhoomika Chawla in the lead opposite Rajnikanth.

Jyothika is currently acting in a couple of films including Manmathan opposite Silambarasan, while actress Bhoomika, after her recent success in NTR Jr-starrer Sambha is going strong in Telugu with a handful of offers besides a couple in Bollywood too.
