‘Biriyani’ uses motion capture

Venkat Prabhu’s “Biriyani” with Karthi is in the making and the recent shooting happened in Pondicherry. The cast, along with Karthi includes, Hansika and Premgi. The music director for this film is Yuvan Shanker Raja.

The latest unique fact about “Biriyani” is that they used motion capture when shooting a stunt sequence. Venkat Prabhu talks more on this saying, “For the first time we are using motion capture technology for a stunt block in Biriyani. We shot this particular live action scene with a multiple camera setup. I, cinematographer Sakthi and the stunt choreographer Shiva were on the double alert since it was shot on motion capture, but the outcome was awesome.” This stunt action sequence was shot in Pondicherry with Karthu, Nitin Sathya, Murugadas and Panchu Subbu.
