For four consecutive days, Dhansika survived with mere water and fruit juice, to get her act right in the climax scene of Bala’s forthcoming film ‘Paradesi’.
“In Paradesi, I play the role of a girl who works in a tea estate. Bala told me that my character would be talked about. I put my best efforts and worked hard for two months,” she says.
The ‘Maanja Velu’ and ‘Aravaan’ actress adds: “Bala wanted me to reduce weight for the climax scene. Hence I starved for four days. During those days, my only intake was water and fruit juice.”
Produced by Bala himself, the film has Atharva as the protagonist. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar. The audio will be launched in London on September 19.
