Karthi’s remuneration is Rs 14 cr?

The rise of Karthi Sivakumar in Tamil cinema is no inferior to any fairy tale. Just six-film old, the actor is now in the A-list of actors in Kollywood, which has the names of Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and Vikram.

If sources are to be believed, a leading producer recently signed Karthi for Rs 14 crore, a remuneration which is a dream for any aspiring star. This clearly shows the demand for the actor in the market.

While ‘Paruthiveeran’ took him to the rural masses besides making the city audience notice him, his films, ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, ‘Paiyaa’, ‘Naan Mahan Alla’ and ‘Siruthai’, made Karthi a household name in Tamil Nadu.

The opening of ‘Saguni’ has made him a bankable actor, on whom distributors and producers can bet big. The forthcoming films of Karthi are ‘Alex Pandiyan’, ‘Biriyani’ and ‘All In All Azhagu Raja’.
