Vijay to shoot in Srinagar

Ilayathalapathy Vijay will shake his legs in the backdrop of picturesque locales of Srinagar for ‘Velayudham’, as the only one song which is left to be shot will be canned in the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir.

Select members of the cast and crew of ‘Velayudham’ will leave for Srinagar on September 17 to shoot the number ‘Molachu moonu ilai vidala…’ Listen here They will be back within a week, sources in the know tell us.

What is more interesting about this particular song is that it would have both the heroines of the film – Genelia D’Souza and Hansika Motwani – sharing screen space with Vijay. It will be choreographed by a popular dance master.

Meanwhile, director ‘Jayam’ Raja is upbeat about the movie’s prospects in the box-office. “Velayudham will be tailor-made for the fans of Vijay. How an ordinary man becomes a super hero is the one-line that can best describe the story,” he says.
