Pandiraj’s Pasanga Productions

Director Pandiraj is now a producer too. His next venture as a filmmaker will be produced by his own banner, which has been named Pasanga Productions. The shooting is going on in a brisk manner, we learn.

“The maiden production venture of Pasanga Productions will revolve on the lives of children living in Chennai slums. It will be a straight contrast to Pasanga, the director’s debut movie,” sources tell us.

“However it is not a full-fledged ‘children film’,” they say and add: “There are enough elements for elders too to enjoy. At the same time, it will convey a vital message in a subtle and interesting manner.”

Pandiraj hogged limelight with ‘Pasanga’, a film produced by director-actor Sasikumar. The film won National Awards too, making the director a hot property in Kollywood. His second venture was ‘Vamsam’, which is Arulnidhi’s debut film.
