It is a ‘Kudumba Chithiram’, says Sami

Controversy’s favourite child Sami is treading an unfamiliar path. For, he says his next film, titled ‘Chithiram’, will be a wholesome entertainer which could be watched with entire family.

A name to reckon with in movies loaded with sex and sleaze, Sami says, “It was not my intention to make films on illicit relationships. Market forces decide on what I should do and what not to.”

“However, I have changed my track now,” he says and adds: “Because my mother wanted me to do a clean film after ?Sindhu Samaveli? and I am on the process now. Titled ?Chithiram?, it is a story that throws light on family values.”

Deepika Padukone’s sister Sanchita Padukone is playing the female lead in the movie. “I assure that anyone can come with their whole family to watch Chithiram,” concludes Sami.
