Vimal-Sargunam plan period film

The ?Kalavani? duo is coming together again. This time for a period film. Vimal and director Sargunam are working hard for this ‘dream project’ of them, sources in the know say.

“A period movie set in the 1960s, the film has been titled ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’. A team led by Sargunam is leaving no stone unturned to get things right,” they add.

Sargunam’s debut venture was ‘Kalavani’, which had Vimal in the lead. The film was one of the very few hits of 2010. Interestingly, producer of the movie Nazeer and Vimal are also doing a film together, titled ‘Eththan’.

Says Vimal, “I am happy for being part of the next projects of Sargunam and Nazeer. Both are responsible for giving me a memorable hit. I hope the same in ?Eththan? and ?Vaagai Sooda Vaa? too.”
