Gautham turns producer

Gautham Vasudev Menon, who so far produced some of his own directorial ventures on first copy basis, has turned a full fledged producer now. The film, directed by Anjana, has been titled ?Veppam?.

Made under the banners of Photon Kathas Productions and RS Infotainment Pvt Ltd (one of the producers of Gautham?s last venture ?Vinnaithandi Varuvaya?), the movie marks the reentry of music composer Joshua Sridhar, who made waves with ?Kadhal?.

Joining hands with Gautham as the producers of ?Veppam? are Madan Kumar, Jayaraman and Venkat. Executive producer is Ravi VI James. ?Veppam is in its final stages of shoot. It comes with a different storyline and would be a unique film,? sources say.

Cinematography is by Om Prakash while lyrics are by Na Muthukumar. Editing will be taken care of by Anthony. Meanwhile, the advertisements of Gautham?s forthcoming directorial venture ?Nadunisi Naaigal? too appeared in today?s newspapers, claiming that the film is ?based on a true story?.
