?Maanja Velu? is up and running

The shooting of ?Maanja Velu? is in full swing and with over 70% of the film’s shoot is complete, it?s gearing up for a January end release. The film is done with a very high budget and heavy casting.

We hear that stunt master Kanal Kannan has given 45 days of his schedule for ?Maanja Velu?. The film is shot with unique style and is said to be a thorough entertainer with the perfect balance of action, comedy, love and sentiments.

When asked about the film and the experience, Arun Vijay said, ?Its a great experience working with yesteryear hero Mr. Karthik and a great opportunity to watch him perform with all that charisma and energy, exuberantly. Karthik plays my elder brother in the film. The scenes between Karthik and myself are being shot with so much of life in them, giving me a lot of scope to experiment with my acting skills. I am confident about the reviews for my character in Maanja Velu.?

It’s worthy to mention that Arun Vijay took a crash-course for 15 days, which has 8 levels and learnt a sky diving technique for ‘Maanja Velu’. Actress Dhanshika (who starred in ‘Peranmai’) is playing the female lead while Vijayakumar, Anu Haasan, Chandrasekar, Santhanam, ‘Ganja’ Karuppu, ‘Nizhalgal’ Ravi and Thyagu are appearing in supporting roles.
