Who is Bhavana in Asal?

When several actresses including Amrita Rao and Mamtha Mohandas were being considered to play Ajith?s heroine ?Asal?, Bhavana bagged the offer silently.

After a successful stint in Tamil, the Malabar beauty had migrated to Telugu where she did a few films. She is now back to Tamil with this lucrative offer after ?Jeyam Kondaan? opposite Vinay.  In ?Asal? the girl shares screen space as lead lady with Sameera Reddy.

The grapevine was abuzz that Bhavana has not got much prospect as Sameera Reddy does. When asked about it the actress said that she is not a second heroine or something like that. ?There are two heroines in the film and I am one of them. I have two duets with the hero,? adds Bhavana.
