This sure is the season for satellite television channels to foray into film production. Joining the list of television channels producing movies is NDTV Imagine. The famed channel in association with Wide Angle Creations will be churning out a movie titled ‘Madurai Sambavam’ to be directed by Yurekha.
The movie brings together choreographer ? actor Harikumar and Karthika, who acted together in ‘Thoothukudi’. John Peter will be scoring music for the film.
According to reports, ‘ it is an action-packed venture based on a real-life story that happened in Madurai. Harikumar has undergone rigorous physical workout to suit the role’.
Shooting is slated to happen in and around Madurai.
