Indiaglitz had published last week that there is a buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood about the film ‘Thalaivan Irukindran’ which will mark the coming together of two great versatile movie artists of the country – Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal.
Well, the movie is to be directed by Kamal Haasan himself. The film will be produced by Gemini films and shooting is expected to begin from January, 2009.
Now, a double delight seems to be in the offing. Noted Malayalam producer Antony Perumbavoor, also known as Mohanlal’s man Friday has unleashed his plans of getting both the stalwarts of Indian Cinema together for a Mollywood movie. According to the producer, initial talks have been underway since last week. Guess who the director of the film is going to be?
Well, it’s going to be none other than Gautham Menon. Despite being a Malayalee, this would be the director’s first Malayalam venture. Goutham has directed Kamal Haasan earlier for the successful film ‘Vettaiyaadu, Vilaiyaadu’.
