Tharun Gopi in demand

Following the huge success in Thimiru, director Tharun Gopi has emerged a hot property in Tamil cinema now.

The director is currently busy with Kaalai, a film in which Simbu is acting in the lead role. Rumors are abuzz that he might join hands with Ajith soon.

According to sources, producer V A Durai had approached Tharun Gopi to direct a film for his production venture, for which the director too had expressed his consent. Following this, an initial advance had been paid to Tharun.

Meanwhile, producer Durai is now making attempts to rope in Ajith as the hero of the new project. However, the actor, who is busy shaping up Billa, is yet to hear the storyline from TharunGopi.
