Jambhavan ready for release

After almost a year, Prashanth will finally have his release next week. Jambhavan is expected to hit the screens in the first week of September.

Though the actor was acting in over half-a-dozen movies, due to various reasons there was confusion over the release of his movies. Eventually, Jambhavan has pushed aside Petrol and Thagappansamy and would be the first to make it to the theatres.

Jambhavan directed by Nandakumar features Nila and Meghna Naidu opposite him.

Speaking about the film, Nanda Kumar says, ‘It is an action and romantic entertainer. It has come really good. We took pains in getting every scene right. Prashanth, Nila and Meghna Naidu co-operated with us well.’

The highlight of the movie is a song sequence that was shot in Thailand. Dancers from foreign countries were used for the song that has choreography by Dinesh.

It may be recalled that the shooting for Jambhavan came to a grinding halt after some issues with Nila. But the actress magnanimously returned to get back to shoot.

Nila has got a good role in the movie and is hoping to build on the momentum from the film.
