Director S P Jhananathan is a man of few words. Rather, he would allow his films to do all the talking. He has now explained as to why he changed the title of his next film from 'Purampokku' to 'Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai'.
"Though the real meaning of 'Purampokku' is 'common to all', it has become an abusive word these days. So I wanted to take the original meaning to the people and hence tweaked the title," he says.
Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Shaam and Karthika Nair play key roles in 'Purampokku'. Plans are on to release this 'socio-economic' thriller on May 1, which is International Labourers' Day.
