According to sources, Vijay plays a cartoonist in the movie. The 'fantasy entertainer' is all about the cartoons painted by Vijay coming to life and taking the audience to different eras.
"In total, Vijay will appear in three roles in 'Puli' and all of them will be a treat to his fans. One of the characters has him as a warrior king and Hansika is his love interest," sources add. Shruthi Haasan is the other heroine of the movie, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
