Vivek is calling the tunes, too

His playing the hero is already headline news in Kollywood.

But Vivek is not going to stop with that in Solli Adippen.

Besides playing the hero in Solli Adippen, Vivek has also sung a song in the film. Set to tune by Deva, the song, Nee Chikunu Keerae has been penned by Kalaikumar and sung by Vivek along with Deva in the movie. 

There is no specific reason to make him sing. It was all done for a lark, says the music director. It is a funny song and hence Vivek himself was called to lisp a few lines.

The point is when life is singing good tunes to you, you yourself can. So Vivek is not only singing but also actually calling the tunes.

Meanwhile, a long-last comedian Chinni Jayanth makes a comeback on the big screen with Solli Adippen.

According to director Ramki, "the movie would be a major boost to Chinni Jayanth, whose cameo would ensure a success for him".
