Sathyaraj to lighten up ‘Sigaram Thodu’

‘Sigaram Thodu’ will be the next big release of UTV after ‘Anjaan’ that releases this week. Directed by Gaurav of ‘Thoonga Nagaram’ fame’ Sigaram Thodu’ stars Vikram Prabhu in the lead role and the actor of three back to back hit films is reportedly playing dual roles for the first time. Veteran actor Sathyaraj plays his father.

Sathyaraj plays a cop in the film and going by the trailer Vikram Prabhu would also take a op’s job after a point. The young actor will be boasting a crop cut for the first time and the film touted to be an action entertainer will have some interesting action sequences that will have Sathyaraj fighting the baddies with an injured leg. Sources say that these will remind us the 1990's which is considered as the 'Action Hero' saga of Sathyaraj's career. A climax chasing a sequence shot between Vikram Prabhu and the Villain in a muddy area amidst lot of lorries will be a highlight of the film, say insiders.

The film is eying for a September 5 release. Monal Gajjar plays the lead heroine while Sathish of ‘Ethirneechal’ fame will be appearing as Vikram Prabhu’s friend and provide comic relief.
