Modi said Vijay is like Salman Khan

Actor Vijay?s official press statement after meeting Narendra Modi , the Gujarat Chief Minister and the top contender of Prime Minister Post in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, stated that the senior politician enquired about the 21 year film career of the actor and its development.

Now we have come to know from reliable sources that Modi appreciated Vijay?s performance particularly in the film ?Nanban?, the Tamil remake of Bollywood super hit Ameer Khan Starrer 3 Idiots.  He has also likened Vijay to Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan who has huge fan following among children. The BJP leader had also appreciated Vijay?s acting skills citing many of his films in the past and wished him luck in is his future projects.

The well equipped politician did not forget to share his compliments for Vijay?s off screen activities to serve the poor and downtrodden people in the society.

Sources say that, Vijay who did not expect a politician of such a national level importance to know this much about him was visibly floored and could not come out of amazement even long after the meeting that lasted for 30 minutes.
