Sandalwood Samyuktha Hegde, who was seen opposite Nikhil Siddhartha in ‘Kirrak Party’, is in the news over an ugly incident involving a Congress leader named Kavitha Reddy. Here are the details of the incident.
On Friday, the 22-year-old actress went for a walk inside the Agara Lake in Bengaluru’s HSR Layout when Kavitha Reddy and others walked up to her and accused her of indecency. She was reportedly moral-policed for wearing a sports bra.
The incident turned all the more unsavoury when one of the members of the crowd accused her of doing drugs. This comes at a time when a drug scandal has hit Sandalwood.
Expressing disgust, Samyuktha tweeted, “The future of our country reflects on what we do today. We were abused and ridiculed by Kavitha Reddy at Agara Lake. There are witnesses and more video evidence. I request you to look into this, Bengaluru police.”
