Cracks are developing within the Congress party. A section of leaders are said to be secretly wishing that Rahul Gandhi quits as the President. However, they are not daring to demand his resignation openly.

As per some analysts, the party High Command has a secret plan. RaGa will eventually resign from the top post in a few days after much drama. The likes of P Chidambaram and others will continue to urge him to stay as resignation will "lead to cadres committing suicide in south India". RaGa will continue to "build" the party after quitting by taking moral responsibility for the humiliating defeat.

Months or a year before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he will once again be reinstated as the chief on the "relentless demand" of Congress cadres and leaders.

If this is the undisclosed mission of the Congress party, it should be prepared for some shocks!
