Complaint lodged as ‘iSmart Shankar’ script gets leaked

We have seen video clips, footage, etc of unreleased films flooding the Internet, but here is the case of a script getting leaked.  The script of ‘iSmart Shankar’ has found its way into the Internet.

The admin of a WhatsApp group is believed to be behind the leak.  It’s not clear how he got access to the script.  This admin most recently put out the script on Instagram, which took time to spread to other networks.  

After learning about the mischievous act, the film’s writer-director Puri Jagannadh lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime police in Hyderabad.  Puri and the film’s co-producer Charmme had tried to make the culprit remove the content from the Internet but to no avail.  Left with no option, they approached the police.

Starring Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal, the action film will hit the screens on July 12.
