"Every problem has a mathematical solution! (sic)," the teaser of 'Cobra' says at the outset. Starring Vikram in the role of a flawed mathematical genius who does impossible crimes using his extraordinary knowledge, the film is helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. "A world of numbers and the genius Chiyaan Vikram! Loaded with all things intriguing," the makers tweeted, calling 'Cobra' an action-packed thriller.

AR Rahman's music is billed as a key highlight. The vibes are that of a larger-than-life Shankar movie, complete with the stylish background score. Srinidhi Shetty and Irfan Pathan have key, undisclosed roles.

KS Ravikumar, Roshan Mathew, Anandraj, Robo Shankar, Mia George, Mirnalini Ravi, and Meenakshi Govindrajan are part of the cast.

Produced by SS Lalit Kumar, the film is edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Harish Kannan is its director of photography. Production Design is by A Amaran, while action choreography is by Dhilip Subbarayan. Co-written by Neelan K Shekar, Kannan Sreevasthan, Innasi Pandiyan, and Bharath Krishnamachari, the film has H Monesh as the VFX supervisor.
