Actor-Director R.Parthiepan was one among a lot of Film industry celebrities to wish the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha who has assumed office for the consecutive second term and sworn in for the top post for the sixth time in her career. He had sent a letter congratulating her for her party's electoral victory. But he would not have expected he would get a prompt reply letter from the CM thanking him for his encouraging words amid her tight busy schedule.

In her letter CM Jaya has said "I whole-heartedly thank you for your letter congratulating me for the success of AIADMK winning the 2016 Assembly elections under my leadership. Thank you for your continuous encouragement for my efforts to develop and achieve the progress of Tamil Nadu."

Parthiepan is overwhelmed by this gesture from Tamil Nadu's most admired leader. He has expressed hope that the CM will take immediate steps to nab the child kidnapping network operating in Chennai and other places of Tamil Nadu.

Actor Parthiepan over the years has involved himself in many social welfare activities. Recently he undertook a campaign to urge the Chennai police to take immediate steps to nab the culprits who kidnap children living on the pavements.
