Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Mahaan’ first single: Celebratory ‘Soorayattam’ is here!

It is well known by now that Chiyaan Vikram and Dhruv Vikram are starring in the upcoming movie ‘Mahaan‘. Directed by talented filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, Kollywood’s star father and son duo is all set for an enthralling cat and mouse game in this action thriller.

Today, the makers of the film unveiled the first single track ‘Soorayattam‘ from the album. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the soundtrack and the background score in Mahaan. SaNa himself has rendered his voice for the number along with the singer VM Mahalingam. Lyricist Muthamil has crafted the lines of the song.

The composer has hit the bullseye once again with this song, following the astounding BGMs in the film’s poster reels. ‘Soorayattam‘ is a brilliant blend of rustic rural tune and electronic music. The lyric video teases that the song is set in a rural festive mood. Chiyaan Vikram makes a dashing entry and was in a celebratory mood throughout the video.

Produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios, Mahaan also stars Simran, Vani Bhojan, Bobby Simha and Sananth in the major roles. The post-production works are going and the dubbing works have begun. The makers are aiming to release Mahaan around the Christmas festival.
