Did Chiyaan Vikram break government lock down rules?

Chiyaan Vikram is having an impressive lineup of films including the ‘Cobra’ directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Chiyaan 60’ that also has son Dhruv Vikram as the parallel lead.  A rumour started doing the rounds on social media that Vikram violated the government lockdown rules by attending a grand wedding function along with hundreds of guests that too without wearing masks.  A photo also went viral with Vikram in the said function.

On closer look it has been revealed that the snap is actually a working still from ‘Cobra’ which also has actress Srinidhi Shetty the heroine in bridal makeup and Robo Shankar. It is said that the still is from the soon to be released song  ”Thumbi Thullal’ from the movie tuned by A.R.Rahman.

‘Cobra’ has Vikram in multiple roles while Srinidhi Shetty, Robo Shankar and Irfan Pathan are also in the cast.  The film is produced on a grand scale by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studios.
